So as you now know, I work on designing themes for Facebook's FISHWORLD game. Each theme has a main background, and prop images in vector.
Now, in the game, you can buy each item, resize it- and place it on the background to create your own unique scene.
This is the Wild West theme. I've posted just a few of the sample props...but there are usually about 12-15 per Theme. The style is something that HAS to be simpler...not many details, nor shading or gradients. Its a flash game, so the less effects and details (for the props only, the background is a GIF I believe) the faster and smoother the game runs.
Now, enough boring talk- and lets look at the art, shall we?! ;)

Wow. Nice work. The 'little' detail looks really impressive!
What a cool job this is Abz. I love every single one of the items, especially because I'm a big fan of Westerns.
Nicely done!

That's a great job to have! Sounds fun! You handled the theme really well. I'm all about this! NICE!
Awesome work, man. Really great job making these Flash-friendly while still making them visually appealing.
I always think it's a good test of an illustrators mettle to see if they can do a good horse... and you pass with flying colours! There's a great consistency to the colour and design in this wild west world, really nice work!

Hey there,
awesome stuff. It's great to see how versatile you are. I'm especially loving the treatment visually of all the props given the requirements for the game.
I can certainly learn alot by looking at how you use a limited range of colours and shading to still give that pop to your images.
:) and safe travels and relaxing over xmas break
I really like this series. Very good technique and environment design!
