The last of the black and white series. I did this in a aboutttt 7 hours total I guess. Not very long, but like I always say- it doesn't take long to do art when you're inspired. This is roughly a meter square in size. Acrylic on canvas...
It's huge. It's a lot nicer in real life...when the canvas reflects other lights in the room...rather than getting a so-so camera quality snap shot of the big painting... it makes it flatter and not as lively...not as expressive. One day, I'll have a showing! ;)

Happy 2010 Abzyyy!
Oh my...What do we have here? You have definitely started this year with the right foot!! :D
This is without a doubt my favorite piece from this series, and I LOVE every one of them. But this one is really special. it's stunning...I'm sure it's completely overwhelming when you look at it live.
It's more abstract than the other 2 and I really like that. I can also feel more light and positive vibes in this one. All those spirals and circles are fascinating and totally hypnotizing. I FREAKING LOVE IT!
Congratulations Hakim...you keep getting better and better by the day! :)
I can't wait to see what you are gunna come up with in the next post. I'm curious to see how this new style is going to result in color and what color choices you're going to make.

*stares*...simply amazing Abz! I love the roundness in this one ^_^!
Yes! Do you have a showing in the future! I want to see them in person!!
Keep it up!
You have such an eye for design!!! This is absolutely beautiful!! Great work once again. Happy New Year to you and yours!!
Ohhhhh, this looks dandy. This is my favorite of the series, I just love it. What a great sense of design you have.
You've got the year off to a wonderful start.
Thank you guys! Im glad you all like this one....I think its my favorite as well!
Hey Abz, you've been curious as to how I look...check out my latest post (I did it just for you).
this piece reminds me of the city (in a bird's eye view) and how so much happens in the city that one must expect the unexpected...and this piece i feel has so much movement...just like the city...i might be wrong but that's what i feel this piece is about

ps. before i read your comment on doing a show i was just thinking when you were gonna exhibit your stuff lol
this is definitely my favorite of the bunch-it seems to be a bit looser, which I love. I don't know what size you work in, but if you did some of these really large, it would be amazing. Keep it up, man!
Happy 2010!!!
Great style!
What a unique idea! Very cool design!
Hey there Abz, great to see you kickin' off 2010 with more inspirational stuff.
I really like this piece and I myself must challenge myself to let loose from my obvious style.
Thanks for sharing as always and happy 2010. JC
this is amazing!!
(thank you for your comment ^^)
It's really interesting how bombastic this design is. Remarkable work, I can't believe how refreshing it is to actually be able to see paint strokes and know that they aren't digital. Great stuff.
Really cool Abz.
Love all the brush texture in there. How big are these?
